Clio Petrified Wood – Guitar Pick

Found in Barbour County 4 miles south of Clio, Alabama. Coming from the Claiborne Group, Tertiary Period, Middle Eocene Epoch. Around 45 million years ago. Type of wood has not been determined. What looks like a fracture on the guitar pick are healed fractures fill in with quartz.
